- Calysta Watson, M.A., M.F.A., RYT-500, is an inspiring and energetic yoga instructor who grew up in South LA. She has long had an appreciation for arts, theater and movement. Calysta incorporates methods and principals of the Ashtanga and Iyengar styles of yoga into the classes she teaches which include vinyasa flow, restoratives, hatha, as well as classes designed for full-figured bodies. Calysta teaches public and private classes and workshops in the Los Angeles area and leads retreats locally and internationally. Calysta completed her advanced teacher training at YogaWorks under the mentorship of Jeanne Heileman, as well as the tutelage of Annie Carpenter, Jasmine Lieb, and Lisa Walford.
Thanks for posting. I have to say that Yoga isn't something that I have explored yet, but the more I read about it, the more intriguing it sounds. At the moment I am reading "Yoga & Meditation" published by Geddes & Grosset. Yoga seems to bridge physical exercise and meditation. Law of Attraction Books
